Microsoft Windows based Server platform hosting has become the preferred choice for webmasters who are in search of a reliable and easy to use platform. As per records revealed at the end of the year 2007, only Apache had a market share ahead of Windows hosting. The latest reports say that the familiar interface has gained rapid growth recently, helping Windows based hosting solutions gain even more share.

Windows hosting is known for its stable and affordable environment, and because it is easy to use, hosted sites will have all necessary features to get them up and running quickly and easily. Support for other Windows based applications and the web’s easiest options to choose from make windows hosting platforms stand out in the crowd.

It does not matter if you are running on Microsoft SQL or ASP.NET; all the hosting needs shall be met with a Windows web host, and the cost is comparable to other systems. Hosting plans offered include basic packages meant for individuals, to the best in class solutions exclusively offered to the businesses.

We all know that Skype is the perfect chat program for video-calls. Skype became in a very short time one of the most popular chat programs that is used by people who are far away one from each other. The most important advantage of Skype is that this chat program offers to its users the possibility to be close one to each other, even if there are thousands miles between them.

Skype Emoticons

Skype emoticons

Don’t think that this program offers to its users only the possibility to talk on the microphone and to use their webcams, because Skype is also used as a chat program. Of course, Skype doesn’t have the reputation of MSN or of Yahoo Messenger, but in the last few years it started to gain more and more users.
When it comes about Skype emoticons there are many emoticons that have the same shortcuts like the ones that are used on Yahoo Messenger or MSN. I will tell you what emoticons do have in common those 3 chat programs.

The first one is represented by the smile emoticon. You can use this emoticon to show your interlocutors that you are in a good mood or you can use it after they just told you a joke. I’m sure that you already know that this is the oldest emoticon and that it is used in many situations. Its shortcut is represented by :) and you can insert one of the famous smileys in your Skype conversations by typing its shortcut in the chat box.

The second common emoticon is represented by the sad emoticon. People use this emoticon very often when they are upset or when they want to show their friends that they had a bad day. The shortcut for this emoticon is :( and if you want to introduce it in your Skype conversations you just have to type its shortcut in the chat box.

Now that you know what Skype has in common with other chat programs, it’s time for you to know how you can introduce in your conversations Skype hidden emoticons. With a simple search on the Internet you will find all the secret emoticons that you can use to impress your friends or to express your feelings better. Next I will present you some Skype emoticons that can be found in the program.

If you just came back from a great party and you want to tell your interlocutor that you had a great time, you can use the drunk emoticon. Your friend will surely understand that you had fun. You can introduce this emoticon in your conversations by typing (drunk) in the chat box.

If you want to tell your friends that you are smoking or that you want to smoke, you can introduce the smoke smiley in your conversations by typing (smoke) in the chat box.

If you are throwing a pool-party and you want to invite all your friends from Skype, you can send them a message with the text of the invitation and of course with the poolparty hidden emoticon. If you want to introduce this secret emoticon in your text message, you just have to type (poolparty) into the chat box.

Did you know when the computer first was released that they just had some basic keyboard symbols? That quickly changed after they realized how many people used them. There are now at least 30 keyboard symbols that people use on a daily basics. Some think that there are over 30 and debate that number. Whenever you are playing around and you spot one that isn’t listed you should come back and tell us.

All ages enjoy using the chat symbols. I was really surprised to find out that my friend who is around 65 years old knows how to use keyboard symbols on her Mac. Not only did she know how to use them but she knew all of them. I’ve also seen people as young as 5 or 6 use these symbols each day.

Keyboard symbols

I think the main reason why people enjoy using the chat keyboard symbols is because they not very hard nor complicated to use whatsoever. All that you need to do is copy the symbols into your messenger and they show up. You can do this by hovering your mouse over the symbol, left click it, highlight the symbol, right click for copy and put it in your messenger. Listed below is the top 5 chat symbols that you can use in your messenger.

Keyboard symbols

:( )
Can’t Stop Talking

Do you have a lot to say and just don’t know when you can stop talking because you are that excited about it? Does your friend just seem to go on and on about a subject you don’t want to hear? If so then you might want to warn your other friends that they just can’t stop talking about it.

:-9
Delicious, Yummy

Food is often mentioned in conversations. When your friend says something that sounds or taste really good you can let them know by telling them how delicious or yummy that sounds by this symbol.

:P
Sticking Out The Tongue

Did someone say something that just shocked you or made you feel disguisted? We all have those moments it seems! You can let them know just how shocked or disguisted that made you feel by sticking your tongue out at them! Shock them back!!

:**
Kisses

Are you in love with someone and want to throw them a kiss? Maybe you just want to make someone feel better. If so you can express how you are feeling by sending them a kiss.

:*)
Clowning

Feel like clowning around? There are some days that just feel right and some friends just seem to clown around all of the time!

There are a lot more keyboard symbols over at http://www.keyboardsymbols.net. They have many emoticons and special alt code characters that you can copy and paste into your chats, so check them out!
