Manufacturers of laptop computers have combined fashion with function by introducing colored laptops to the marketplace. Of the many different colors released, one of the most popular has been pink, which comes as no surprise. After all, pink is a color commonly associated with fun and excitement, and it’s also one of the top colors in the world of fashion and design. Pink laptops allow the consumer free reign to express themselves with their computers while also satisfying their need to stay connected to their important documents and to the outside world via the Internet.

cool pink laptops

In terms of portability, laptops cannot be beat for their ability to be easily transported. In fact, most laptops weigh in at about 4-8 pounds, which allows for easy carry to common and uncommon locations alike. Due to the widespread availability of wireless networks, laptop computers owners can communicate readily with the outside world. What could be better than having all of these capabilities contained within a shiny pink case? It’s becoming commonplace for people to accessorize with their electronic devices including cell phones, digital cameras and laptop computers. The reason for this is obvious, as there is simply no better method of making a statement than to flaunt the latest and greatest of what technology has to offer.

Although pink laptop computers are readily available, there are still some important considerations when it comes to purchasing one for yourself. Many people start out the buying process by asking how to find the best laptop on the marketplace, though the answer to such a question really depends on the intended use. The phrase “one man’s trash in another man’s treasure” definitely applies here, since people desire different features and levels of performance. When selecting a laptop it’s important to consider items like the overall weight of the computer, it’s potential battery life, available processor options and, of course, the price. Another common question is what brand to purchase, though this isn’t as important as it might seem. Sure, there are certain brands that have very loyal followings, though by and large, most of the major computer manufacturers are a safe bet when it comes to quality and performance. Perhaps the most effective process is to simply check out some of the online reviews, which are generally very good for uncovering the pluses and minuses of a particular computer. Because these reviews aren’t necessarily written by the manufacturer, they tend to be fairly unbiased and honest.

Ultimately, choosing a laptop computer will afford you with a level of convenience that you never thought possible. No longer will you be held back by cables and a bulky computer tower. Laptops can also be purchased in a variety of colors that allow you to broadcast your personality to the world. By taking the buying tips above into consideration, you will be better equipped to secure the computer of your dreams.

It’s equipped with a descent processor, an AMD Sempron 3500+ with clock speeds up to 1.8 Ghz, capable of handling multiple applications without slowing down. The widescreen display makes watching DVDs and videos absolutely delightful, while not being too large as to make it bulky.
Sturdy design

Widescreen display

24x CD burner/DVD combo drive

Built-in 802.11g mini Wireless card

Portable

The Bad:

A little on the heavy side

Unlike other Acer notebooks the 5330 has a decent battery life of 2.5 hours and is light enough to carry around from office to office or appointment to appointment without being a burden. A 2 GHZ processor coupled with 1GB of RAM ensures that it is quick and will handle just about any office or home use activity without sacrificing resources. It also has a large 160 GB hard drive that provides more than adequate space for both documents and multimedia.

I was recently lucky enough to get a brand-spankin-new Fujitsu T5010 Tablet PC. Here are the specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 @ 2.26GHz

Microsoft Windows Vista Business (32-bit)

4GB DDR3 RAM

13.3″ Screen with Active Digitizer

80GB Hard Drive

DVD Burner

1.3 Pixel Webcam

Etc

This is a replacement PC for the Gateway M285 that I got in 2006. I won’t go into details but I had a pretty terrible all around experience with the M285, especially towards the end of its life. Let me just say, the T5010 is nothing short of spectacular (so far).

THE GOOD

Strong, metal hinge (Gateway M285′s hinge completely gave out after not a lot of time, leaving a floppy screen)

Screen rotation goes both ways (thats what she said).

Active digitizer; senses the pen when it isnt touching the screen and recognizes right clicking and eraser end of the pen.

Great design; looks very slick

Heat-sensitive scroller for when in tablet mode

USB ports are spread out

VERY bright screen

THE BAD

Terrible speakers

Windows Vista Business (not it’s fault)

When you switch into tablet mode you must manually rotate the computer to see the screen in the correct orientation

Battery life is mediocre…but still decent

Controls on the screen are right where your hand seems to want to rest when in tablet mode…makes for some interesting button pushes.

Overall a sweet buy and highly recommended. But make sure you have lots of RAM.
