The Motorola Droid was one of the most anxiously awaited gadget releases of 2009. With all of the smart phones on the market the Droid was one of the few that actually captured the interest of millions of people, allowing for the phone to sell out before it even hit the shelves. People who had not been satisfied with the iphone or the Blackberry and similar phones were turning to the Droid for another option.
Overall the Motorola Droid seems to be a great buy. The phone is appropriately sized, and is not all that different in size that many of the other phones on the market today. The phone features a touch screen as well as a standard QWERTY keyboard, which allows for it to be used easily when necessary. The keyboard slides out from under the touch screen, which if it is not cared for properly, could lead to some issues, but overall the phone is very stable and seems like it will open and close with ease as long as it is cared for properly. For those looking for a way to get around owning a Blackberry or iphone, the Motorola Droid may be just what they are looking for in capability, size, and technology offered.
