I recently (April, 2009) decided to upgrade my computer setup to dual-monitor and it is awesome..but that’s a different story. To complete my setup, I purchased this (refurbished) Acer X193W+BD Black 19″ 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor from TigerDirect. Was only $84.97 and $1.99 shipping…sweet deal. The monitor is fantastic for the price. It’s quite sharp and you can modify all of the properties (color balance, contrast, brightness) to get it to your ideal look. As usual, here goes the good and the bad.
THE GOOD
- Sharp design – cool looking stand, bright blue LED, black, etc.
- Rediculously low price.
- Good resolution (1440 x 900 pixels)
- Nice color quality
THE BAD
- No DVI port..was a little suprised actually.
- Stand rotates up and down, but two hands are required to rotate up (no biggie).
- On button is a little hard to find in the dark, but you get used to it.
Another good buy for the price.
